yay =).. obs.. actually i have been looking so forward to today.. CIVILISATION =).. but actually i rather miss obs leh... i shall try to upload the pics here if i can =).. hehehe..
im supposed to be sleeping away now.. but i shall be nice and BLOG =).. obs is so memorable... I LOVE 301!!! =).. so sad that we were separated.. but the first 16 of us rocks man =).. im so touched by the bonding and teamwork and everything =).. k la.. obs hav ups and downs.. my whole tent grp (dina, xi wen, lihong and me) practically almost died on wednesday... we were like on the verge of committing suicide.. hahahaha.. no larh.. just felt like the whole world is collapsing.. but yay.. we succeeded in completing obs =).. sense of achievement :D
k.. so the first day.. (shall not talk abt what we did in school.. cause its boring).. haha.. so.. we reached there le.. and guess what!.. we still didnt know whether we were in mobile or residential!! most of us praying that we would go to mobile.. cause we thought that we were in residential when we saw the rather old rooms.. (bed bugs!!) and after we split into watches.. our instructor still refused to tell us larh.. wah lao.. smack him.. make us so suspicious.. btw.. he is wilfred! (hahaha.. he got alot of name evolution aniwae.. like wilbert.. wildert..etc etc).. yes.. so funny right... k.. so the first thing we did was the totally unsolvable hand thing.. which you are supposed to hold to other ppl's hand and get out to a circle.. i dunno how we managed to get to a so complicated knot larh!.. first time so can.. in the end we gav up.. after much turning and twisting and suphocating.. you should see the pic then you know what it was like.. my arms were practically twisted and i felt as though every where was aching lorh.. just the first activity like tt le =/.. what else we do arh.. hmm.. we did the trust thing.. pendulum like thing.. and falling off from the board and the rest will catch you... quite easy larh.. then we did belaying i think.. (or was it second day?) not sure larh.. aniwae.. it was super funny can!.. i can nvr ever belay anione!!.. HAHA.. i shall eat more!!.. i nearly flew up when i belayed lisa.. hahaha.. sorry lisa.. i bet you got a shock of your life when you felt yourself dropping when you were not supposed to.. and that hystarical dina who was the anchorer and xinyu who was the assistant.. hahaha.. they were practically screaming and laughing away while trying to pull the whole thing down.. SO FUNNY =) and we made the rest of the watch lose concentration i guess.. hahahaa.. centre of attention.. but the struggle was quite interesting what =).. hahahahahhahahaha.. and we pitched the tent for the first time.. with the nice and straight tent pegs.. and the rather soft and easy to poke ground.. and cook and everything =).. first day quite nice =)...except the scrubbing of the terribly black soot on the cooking pot which refused to go away =/
second day.. oh.. we went for kayaking!.. stupid kayak so heavy.. first time not so bad larh.. but the nxt few days was so sick of moving kayaks.. aniwae.. we went from camp site 2 to camp site 1.. but on the way also test life vest and practice capsizing.. another funny thing.. when we were happily testing life vest by swimming in the sea.. a grp of fish suddenly jumped on all of us.. rubbish lorh.. everyone was screaming and screaming.. on our faces somemore!!!!.. and some on our body.. then wilfred was like telling us to stop screaming and close our mouths so that the fishes dont get in.. ahhaha.. we so funny lar.. he makes so much sense.. we were busy screaming and nvr even think =).. lucky nothin went inside our mouths =).. k.. then kayak.. capsizing was a traumatizing experience.. hahaha.. k larh.. not so bad.. just that i was quite scared that i would get stuck inside the kayak and nvr get out or something.. hahahahaha.. i think too much.. aniwae.. its quite fun also =).. then we went to camp site 1.. eat lunch.. NICE FOOD =).. residential ppl so lucky larh.. get so nice food.. (btw we were in mobile sea.. sembawang).. then pitch tents and tunnelling!.. cause my group was one of the last to do.. so they not enough time and just leave a tiny time in between the groups going in.. so we were able to catch up with the grp infront =).. the tunnel was really dark larh.. cannot see anithing at all.. and it was so cramp.. actually not v difficult to find our way out.. except the place where we could stand up.. like a room like tt.. then cannot find ani doors.. but the grp in front did it for us.. so we just followed.. hahahaha.. we so slack.. in the end 12 ppl cluster together.. so not scary larh =).. then eat dinner.. nice food again.. and sleep...
day 3..most terrible day lorh.. kayaking.. to SEMBAWANG.. we all could hav escaped home.. hahaha.. according to simin.. the journey from camp site 1 to sembawang is 22km?!.. aniwae.. paddle lorh.. paddle paddle.. we kayaked for 9 hrs with a short lunch break in between.. hand suan like hell la.. and worst thing is that in the middle of the expedition.. the currents and winds started going against us.. and we were always pushed to the right no matter how hard we tried to steer it to the left.. and when we succeeded in turning it to the left.. it practically swerved all the way and we went perpendicular.. so rubbish... i was so pissed off and frustrated lorh.. banging the sea.. but lucky lisa so patient!!!.. i would hav died if lisa was as impatient as me.. so sorry lisa.. really v patient leh!.. =)... so we were at the back of the group.. trying to catch up desperately but CANT.. rubbish lorh.. terrible experience.. was so tired larh.. i heard alot of ppl actually cried when they kayaked.. just that i didnt know.. haha.. i almost cried at night when we reached... was so mentally and physically straining lorh!.. and we still had to kayak the nxt day!... we thought we would die.. was so depressing!.. and we lose our toothbrush!!! and cutleries!!.. haix.. heck lorh.. i dont want to elaborate on that day le larh.. its just depressing!... everyone was dying.. feeling weak.. on the verge of collapsing.. haix.. oh ya... while we were kayaking.. the instructors started circling around us and make waves larh.. they shuang larh.. trying to be funny and purposely make us want to capsize.. they only stopped when someone really capsized!!.. dotz larh.. we were already so tired lorh.. and!.. we shouldnt litter! especially erm.. really disgusting or personal or x-rated things.. sembawang was so gross.. our camp site were like.. full of rubbish and we had to clear them.. styrofoams, diapers, spoons, joss sticks, ashes, etc etc.. the worst thing is what......... condoms =/.. so er xin lorh.. oh ya.. and its so not romantic to go to the beach when there is a camp site around.. hahahaha.. i heard that alot of ppl started staring at a couple walking at the beach.. i bet they felt so paiseh... haha..wu liao ppl...
day 4.. we had to wake up super early to kayak cause of the direction of the winds.. supposed to be at 4.. but my tent woke up at 4.30.. haha.. cant blame us lorh.. k la.. mayb can.. but our night duty was like at what time? 2.45 to 3.15 am!.. how are we supposed to be able to wake up at 4 =/.. and how were we supposed to be able to write our journals when we were doing night duty?.. haha.. k.. aniwae we set off late.. kayak kayak.. before that keep on asking lisa whether she had the strength.. cause i was about to collapse le... then she's still so patient lorh!.. "just try our best".. hahaha.. lisa!.. how you so patient one!!.. aniwae.. wanted to switch so i sit at the back.. then not so tiring.. but i scared the weight difference would make the kayak capsize easily.. so i decided to persevere and stay at the front.. at first quite ok lorh.. then towards the middle and back.. we were so motivated by... LUNCH.. hahahahhah.. we only ate like 3 pieces of biscuits for breakfast.. then suddenly so energetic.. somemore hav really choppy waves somewhere in the middle.. thought that everyone would just drift back and we would nvr reach pulau ubin.. but instead.. we sped!!.. hahahaha.. damn funny.. speed like hell.. and we felt so shuang =).. but actually i dont think we sped lorh.. we sped physically.. but i think the waves keep on pushing us back.. so its not covering a great distance.. aniwae.. it was psychologically encouraging =).. ahhahaha.. pia pia pia all the way.. and most of the time.. our kayak was somewhere at the front.. so shuang =).. hahaha.. so motivating!.. despite the waves.. and we almost knocked onto the .. (what's that called =X.. forget liao).. just the shore with lots of rocks to break the waves.. hahaha... and there were lots of barnicles and crawling i dunno what.. hahah.. and the instructors told us to raft up and they tried to push us out.. UNSUCCESSFULLY.. argh.. waste our strength!.. in the end they slowed us down and we went even closer to it lorh.. sian.. aniwae.. we kayak kayak.. at the channel there.. they told us to go fast fast right.. k lorh.. CHIONG =).. hahahah.. fun fun fun =).. chiong until we didnt know where the navigator was =X.. hahahaha.. but the instructors were telling us where to go at that time so its ok.. then finally reach le =).. while waiting for others to put their kayaks on shore.. we raft up and the instructors started spraying at us and walking on our kayaks!.. whoohoo... and they wanted to capsize us again larh.. dots.. they just stand in the middle and shake shake shake.. but everyone was rafting up what!.. how to capsize =).. after that wash kayak.. then jetty jump!.. optional larh.. didnt want to go at first.. cause the plank and the sea level seems to be a great distance away.. according to fransisca its abt 3.5m?.. aniwae.. i tried larh.. cause i know that i would regret if i dont try.. just jump!.. whoo... but after i jump i was like.. why so long havnt reach the sea!!where's the sea.. where's the sea.. hahaha.. and sea water started going into my nose and mouth although i covered them.. abit only larh.. but the sea water is really really concentratedly salty!..was so glad that i didnt get scratched by the barnicles when i went up the ladder..after that we went for flying fox.. while the other half of the watch went to clean the stuff.. was the ropeman most of the time.. and i got burned by the rope!.. on my elbow.. haix.. was like scalded that kind.. then pus started coming out.. totally er xin.. and pain!.. lucky its not tt bad larh.. while i finally went up to do flying fox.. the climbing already so tiring larh.. so high.. hahaha.. reach up there le.. then i look down super scared.. dunno why lar.. although i did flying fox before.. im just afraid of looking down without railings i guess.. aniwae.. i think the flying fox i did during p5 camp was better.. as in its easier to manage.. no need so many ppl to help.. and i think its more fun.. cause the first part you will sink alot then scare you to death..hahah.. so fun =).. then this one just 45 degrees straight downwards.. and got weird tyre there.. and its dangerous larh!.. i see dina got hit until like that =X.. and i almost sprained my neck lorh.. cause my head was like pushed backwards when i was falling.. aniwae.. after that went to pitch tent.. realised that the other half were slacking larh!.. ahhaha.. but.. me and lihong v determined to make our last night in the tent super steady.. the tent shall be perfect =).. and we didnt have help from other ppl.. so li hai right =).. yay.. then we knock until so shuang.. super strong.. but go inside the sides still sink abit leh.. why argh.. the tent problem larh!.. aniwae... last night i think all the tents stinks lorh.. cause of the insect repellents and the sea water.. hahah.. aniwae we had quite alot of time.. so ya.. then finish le..just that during the briefing that night.. we played some games v funny one.. bunny bunny bunny =).. ppl do until v funny.. and the forfeit is just WEIRD.. wilfred gu yi one larh.. obs is not supposed to hav intimidacy.. but what is the forfeit?... some greeting from kiwi isit.. not sure.. where two ppl hav to touch and rub three times at the nose.. so les lorh!.. lucky its not me =).. im alert during the game =).. then we did some if this is one.. if this is two.. ahahhahaa.. v fun =).. i knew the trick quite fast =).. yay.. pls congratulate me =).. i think he also super funny.. must wait for everyone to get it so towards the back he make it so obvious.. hahahahahha..
last day.. was so looking forward to this day especially on wednesday.. we did something similar to the trust thing.. but this time must hit the bell and dive forward.. im short!!.. argh.. disadvantage =(.. didnt hit the bell.. but its ok larh.. its just quite fun to dive =).. then just clear everything.. wash wash.. lots of things missing at first.. but we managed to get alot of things back.. and im so happy =).. me and simin spent quite some time looking for tent pegs at the camp site.. and in the end we found 4!!!.. YAY =).. we rock =).. they blend in well with the surrounding lorh.. so we didnt hav ani missing =).. then we took pictures together =).. haha.. compare and contrast.. before and after obs =).. we looked so bonded in the photos.. jiayee =).. pls upload them =).. i want... k.. then nothin much le.. went back.. but before we went back.. one watch cried like siao right.. hai.. i felt like crying also larh.. lucky wilfred nvr say some sentimental speech to make us cry.. i think their watch de instructor say alot of stuff gu yi make them cry.. haha.. and i think obs is quite retarded.. in the morning got one watch jogging which singing jigle bells.. and there was a 'hey!' after each line.. and someone was jumping whenever there was a hey!.. ahhahahaha.. obs makes ppl retarded =).. k.. so we went back..
overall our watch rocks larh =).. we grew v bonded after obs i guess.. and we got to know each other v well.. so sad that not the whole class is there.. why are we separated.. so many nice ppl in 301 =).. yay.. this rocks..
aniwae we had a v entertaining entertainer throughout obs.. and that is.. XIN RONG =).. hahahahahahha.. first is xin rong and her mess tins =).. imagine that your food is actually contaminated by xin rong's dirty/ clean clothes.. undergarments..cutleries.. toileteries when you eat.. hahahahahhahahahah... and nxt is xin rong and her HOT PINK shirt =).. and everyone cant wait for nxt yr's prom night.. when we can see xin rong in a dress =).. ahhahaha.. and got other stuff also.. just that i forgot.. haha..
and you know what i lost!.. i lost my towel meant for kayaking on tues.. just before we kayaked =/.. and our soap(supposed to be dina's but we wanted to share) went missing that night.. then our toothbrush and culteries went missing on wed.. .. so nice horh!.. dunno what else le.. cause i dont bother to check after that.. hmm..
wah.. i write so long le.. my eyes are tired.. i think i grew darker aniwae.. although i thought that i didnt grow so dark .. maybe cause everyone was also dark.. ahahha.. only realised when i reached home and compared my skin with my siblings.. nvm la.. at least i didnt get sunburn =).. k k.. i better go le.. byebye =).. i bet you dont hav the time to read until here =).. super long post.. haha.. byebye!
