here's my daily update! 2nd day! definitely more fun than the first =p.. more hands on activities and games like some mock investment thing ~~where my team lost half of our wealth~~.. and the explanations on identifying trends of the market is definitely pitched at a better and more understandable level =p

went to visit the dealing room and bloomberg as well (: and i must say that i really really love the working environment in bloomberg! pleasant working environment with less stress than banks.. and there's totally no hierarchy and just treating everyone as friends kinda place.. awesome :D

okie so went to crash engin oweek for a short little while.. nth much.. before coming back to the hotel and wanted to use the internet in my room.. shant go on talking abt it otherwise i'll rant forever abt my sis.. so yeah.. i ended up in the lobby (and still am now).. and whoo my sis just walked past me without seeing me when i called out to her =.=.. rawrrr.. annoyinggggggggggggggggggggggggggg...

okie just a short post before i head off to bed!

hehe the seminar is really much better than i thought =p cause everyone's really friendly and all ((: and omg quite a number of jokers around that makes everything so comical xD..

so basically we had a little bit of propaganda in the morning with all the talks abt the bank.. and got to learn more about the different investment in the afternoon.. luckily i wasnt the only lost one =p HAHA.. but yeah la.. definitely learnt a thing or two here and there..

to sum it up: many talks by many different big shots.. ~~which kinda made many ppl desperately try to stay awake~~

and omg i love the dinner cum cocktail :D freeflow alcohol ftw! drank 1.5 glasses of alcohol.. and i didnt feel tipsy at all xD im getting better at this =p.. actually i didnt really feel like i was drinking alcohol la.. just like.. normal drinks.. so yeah aniway it was at the new asia bar at level 71 at swissotel xD which was just nxt to equinox! woohooo nice view :D and i just like the way the bank ppl interacted with us over lunch and dinner..

im posting from fairmont hotel's lobby now :D no free internet connection in my room.. but woohooo really enjoying the life (: i always love staying in the hotel man! nice ambience and everything.. and even though im still in singapore.. totally feels like a holiday :D went shopping with my sis just now and wah for once dun need to worry about curfews and what nots.. we are totally free for the next weeek :D and this place is so convenient that everywhere is within walking distance xD

okay so for the next week.. im gonna learn abt investments and what nots.. kinda scary at the thought of it.. only 27 participants and those giving the talks/workshops are all big shots =x one wrong move and hoho.. damn malu =x but hopefully i will get to learn some useful stuff before the school starts (: but gahh i also wished that i was in school for oweek too D: i wanna playyyy...

haha okie i shall end off here now.. will probably blog more in the nxt couple of days to jot down some learning points (: for now.. BYEBYE :D

just came back from the bank.. when i first told my mum that i wanted to start investing.. i wasnt really surprised that she gave me the go-ahead.. but now it really feels strange that she's letting me have full control of what i want to invest in.. signing all the papers ~~(YES CAUSE IM NOT 21 YET =.=)~~.. and even topping money into my bank account =x now.. tt pressured me quite abit and now i dun dare to invest! hahah.. i wont really mind losing the money that i earned myself.. but i dun want to lose the money that my mum gav me =/ and.. i shall be disciplined!! aiyah think abt this during the holidays la.. and who wants to learn how to invest with me :D met a personal banker just now and he seems pretty keen in guiding me along.. its really shocking how rampant the occurence of natural disasters have been this year.. just 2/3 weeks ago.. it was earthquake in new zealand.. yesterday in yunnan.. and today in japan.. tsunami has reached philippines and hawaii.. and its bound to reach chile tmr morning.. i really count myself lucky to be in singapore.. not having to worry about such life and death situations.. but i cant help to ponder what is life really all about?

if the world really comes to an end in 2012.. im sure everyone will live their lives differently this year.. hmm now tts really something to ponder on..

i still need to think of what to do in my 3 months holiday! random camps here and there..plus im going back to indo for a week or so.. making it difficult for me to get a job.. hmm.. definitely wont wanna waste it all away doing nth.. gotta find something meaningful to occupy myself with (:

i dont know why.. but somehow i really enjoy the things that im learning in uni.. never found this kind of joy in learning after so many years of education.. maybe cause i dont feel forced to learn.. or perhaps reality just sets into me that i dont have many more years left in a school setting.. we are all getting oldddd D:

here's my resolution: to survive this year :D as simple as it sounds.. i know its gonna be rather difficult to attain.. LOL.. good luck to everyone man :D seems like everyone's new year resolutions are v simple this year.. hahah

aniway i just ate my first vegetarian meal in my life today! haha such an apt timing to eat such food.. and i must say tt its really beyond my expectation :D first time i realise that veges can taste like meat! like seriously! and for once i like eating mushrooms cause they taste like chicken!! :D

hellooo!! (: im finally back from malaysia! hahah the trip has been much better than i thought.. stoned around at the exhibition for the first 1.5 days.. followed by 2 days of shopping.. before flying to sabah and went out to the sea.. a nice experience i must say (: although the boat ride was pretty scary and it was raining so hard.. but i enjoyed myself all the same (:.. stayed in a floating hotel.. and the place there is so peaceful! whee no traffic lights at all.. super shuang to be on their road..

flew back to KL to do more shopping.. muahah.. the stuff there's really really cheap!!! most expensive clothes that i got in KL costs S$10 only :D:D:D.. oh yes and i was so surprised to see jasmine tan at the hotel! haha small small world!

Some tips for shopping in malaysia
1. Shopping malls worth going: Midvalley Megamall(KL), Sungei Wang(KL), Bejaya Times Square(KL), The Mines(Serdang)
2. Malls not worth going: Lot 10(KL), KLCC(think Paragon)
3. Money changers are everywhere in KL so dont worry about not having enough cash.. i stepped into malaysia with only RM8 LOL
4. Some malls have north, south, east, west and central segments.. so prioritise! seriously just grab and go.. HAHA.. its nearly impossible to cover the whole mall.. your legs and back will feel like breaking after a few hours..
5. And the place is really very similar to singapore so dont worry about the language (:..most of them can speak in english.. the chinese will automatically speak in mandarin with you.. lol.. i gave up trying to speak malay with them.. cause most of the time they'll reply in english =.=

and now im back in singapore! holiday seems pretty packed so far.. more and more outings coming up! (: whoo.. and of course organising for the incoming in january..

decisions decisions decisions.. guess now is really the time to start making all the decisions in life.. just made a rather difficult decision of not going to chile this december.. wanted to fully pay for the trip myself initially as i really didnt wanna burden my parents.. i understand that its going to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience since our outgoing is going to be a major thing over in Chile.. and the chileans have put in so much effort in getting everything in place.. but i guess in life we'll need to weigh out everything.. im not sure whether i'll regret my decision.. even if i go.. i may regret going.. hmm opportunity costs.. have been looking so forward to it.. but sigh.. ): nvm ba.. i'll work harder for the incoming league instead (:

as for next sem.. i cant decide whether to be in engin camp comm, ise camp comm or go for an OCIP.. something which i had always wanted to do since secondary school but nvr got a chance to experience.. need to make my decision on whether to go for engin camp comm by this sunday.. peer pressure since so many of my OGmates are going for it.. ~~but kena shot down when i said tt i wanted to help out in logistics~~

so many opportunities.. so little time.. if i had a choice i'll really go for as many things as i can..each activity is full of learning opportunities.. but i know its not possible.. considering the super duper steep bell curve in ISE(which until now i still cant believe) .. i really cant afford to sacrifice my studying time.. im already lagging behind in my work! if this goes on.. i can even forget abt second upper class.. :D cynthia's a happy girl :D totally burnt my whole weekend with NES's induction camp.. as well as rushing over to comex fair right after to get my laptop (: whoo my sis's old laptop conveniently crashed this morning.. perfect timing man.. aniway.. so i havnt done any tutorials for nxt week.. so deadmeat! but im still happy nonetheless (:

induction camp was fun (: my group was really high and i realised i rather be a facillitator than be a participant in a camp.. HAHA.. somehow i'll really get more hyped up and enjoy myself more.. so hmm.. shall consider helping out for nxt yr's orientation (:..

talk abt comex fair la.. more interesting! (: so after the camp.. i came back home to put all the barang barang.. then off to comex fair with my sis and kevin! (: it was sooo crowded! omg much worse than the previous IT fair.. probably cause we were saved by the world cup which was happening simultaneously during the previous fair.. aniway aniway.. so we went round and round and round x10000.. my sis bought alot of stuff.. and it was very amusing to see how kevin was trying to test the salesmen xD basically we stayed there from 5 till 8+pm.. up till the last hour of IT fair.. when they were slashing all the prices.. feel so happy that i finally got ASUS U45Jc.. :D thanks kevin and sis for helping me decide! (: ~~duh cause im such a computer idiot~~ and kevin's really good in bargaining! OMG! seriously need to learn from him.. AUNTIE LA YOU :D but yup thanks to him we managed to slash the price by another hundred bucks (:.. lalala went over to marina square's food court to makan! where both of them were busy bullying me D:.. wahpiang v fun hor.. i ended up eating so slowly cause i seriously couldnt stop laughing and trying desperately to rebute them.. discovered that my chinese isn't tt bad afterall :D ~~cause somebody's chinese really cmi!!!~~ lu4 ying2 is called meeting.. and he knows what is kai1 hui4 but doesnt know how to write it xD AHHAHA... so lalala.. made our way home after tt.. heyo! (: wanted to blog alot this week since it was my real holiday! but hehe ended up so busy that i didnt manage to settle down in front of the com to type out a blog post.. in short.. really enjoyed myself.. packed with 3 good movies within two days and catching up with friends (:.. class outing.. ise briefing.. and bidding of modules.. whoo i got the econ module i wanted (: but tt would mean i need to go for the 6-8pm lecture on tues D: luckily quite alot of ppl are taking it too.. so i guess it should be fine.. we'll suffer together.. haha!

tmr's the start of o week! no idea why our faculty so extra and start on sunday instead of monday.. but well.. hope that my og will be fun (:

TA night was a blast!!! (((: certainly made a good end to my last day of work at royal caribbean cruises (: really love the pretty setting there.. with colourful lights shining on each table.. omg i dunno how to describe.. and sry i didnt take any photos cause i was so paiseh to take them there! HAHA xD of course the entertainment was imba too! with flying dutchman emceeing.. and hossan leong doing his own semi-play.. the games were uber entertaining! lol totally laughed until i couldnt stop tearing.. but i must say that flying dutchman is really mean!! hahaha forever suaning everyone.. but he really did a good job in entertaining us for the night (duhhh).. getting everyone involved even though it was supposed to be a function/event kinda thing =p

well tt marks the end of my 4-months work there.. and i think i'll really miss the people there ): Despite the piles of payments.. i kinda enjoyed the work and the company.. now that work is over.. lets look forward to a new phase of our lives (:

on a side note.. congrats juniors for the results in the competition! (: regardless of the results.. just hope that you guys had fun and appreciate all the memories that it has given to your lives :D

omg suddenly everything else seems so minor to me.. life's so unpredictable.. now i really cant bear to see the photos taken during camp.. actually i really dont know what to say here.. but it really made me realise that we should live everyday to the fullest and appreciate everyone around you..

and i start thinking abt what's the purpose of life.. ppl work hard to get material needs..but at the end of the day..does it all really matter? personally i really prefer to live a contented life with all my loved ones.. as long as everyone is happy and safe.. nth else really matters..

hehe just had a really really nice lunch treat from joell and lily (: they are really v v nice to us omg.. im gonna miss them so much after i end my work D:.. we gotta find a chance to treat them back before we leave..so anyway the five of us went to eat at TCC today! although the food is pretty expensive.. but they have a really good deal now (: not sure whether its for all outlets.. buy 1 main course and get one main course plus coffee/tea free! so it became not tt expensive afterall.. but i must say the ambience is really nice to just slack around and relax (: yes yes go to the second floor of the tcc along the singapore river! the chairs come in the form of beanbags and we get to watch world cup there xD haha.. it would have been perfect if they had board games too and i swear we wont hav come back to work =p.. lol took a long 2 hr break! (haha our dept v slack i know xD.. but its only once in a while k)..

tmr going to eat with the whole department! wonder where angela will bring us to tmr (: and im so sad tt its gonna be yingqi's last day at work D: i dont have anione to kajiao anymore D: ~~well tts with the exception of PK HAHA~~

i really really miss my primary school days D: ahh omg.. just came back from 6A 2003 class outing and its really really the best class tt one can ever have.. its very heartwarming to see how everyone could click so well even though we havnt met each other for about 2 years? all we needed was a place to sit down and we could talk to each other non-stop.. it really brings back lots of wonderful memories which we had when we were small..

what really touched me was even though it was a pretty last minute gathering.. many ppl could still set aside some time to come down.. even for those ppl who only knew abt it this morning.. they also tried all means to drop by even if its for a short little while to say hi to everyone.. tt certainly made my day (:

its funny to see how ppl fingerpointed at each other and complained abt how they got bullied by the other party.. how kevin and gang volunteered to sweep the floor for 3 weeks straight and got commended in class ~~but it turned out tt they did it only because they threw all the dust into tommy's bag every single day~~.. the way vishnu said íf i grew a beard.. i'll probably look like a terrorist'.. and it suits him so much man!! i could still rmb how he and nicholas plotted their 'terrorist attacks'.. and yes we are still gossiping abt teachers up till now xD.. the strangling using the tie.. and the rock hitting head incident 3 days before PSLE.. the throwing of belongings into a drain.. and it didnt help tt a corrupted prefect became an alibi?!? the writing of autograph books.. and journals to teachers.. which i cant believe tt some ppl actually keep until now.. and laugh at how retarded those entries were xD

it was really a day of fun and laughter (:.. i havnt laughed this much for a long time.. like what jingwen said.. its just different to be with your primary school friends.. you can just talk about anithing without having to worry.. its just a v carefree feeling (:

its sad that quite a number of them are going overseas in august.. really hope that we can see them soon.. and relive our primary school days once again (:

muaha today is the slackest day at work ever!! :D went for a 1.5 hr lunch break cause i went to uob to open a new bank account.. came back to work for 1hr20mins before taking a 40min break to get yingqi's dbs debit card..

and i tell you i feel super retarded!!!! i was so happy when i finally signed up for my uob debit card.. until like one hr later.. when i researched dbs's debit card for yingqi.. i realised tt there's one which is completely free.. =.=.. okay i just feel uber retarded =.= wanted to just open another account in dbs.. but i'll feel even more retarded if i open two accounts on the same day.. so nvm.. i shall wait for a while before i open my dbs one.. LOL.. but there are good and bad points abt the two banks.. at least uob's atm machines usually have no queues at all xD whereas dbs is always super crowded.. YES IM TRYING TO CONVINCE MYSELF TT I MADE THE RIGHT ~~MISTAKE~~ CHOICE!!

school's starting in a month's time.. i dunno whether to be excited or scared.. yea many ppl already had their orientation camps and they seem to be having lots of fun with their new friends.. my camp's in 2 weeks time.. and there's a part of me that tells me not to expect too much from the camp.. cause im sort of predicting tt it will be boring =/ sigh.. im sry i shouldnt be so pessimistic.. but i still have the impression that engineering ppl are really boring =/ pls prove me wrong.. plus the fact that the camp's blog is ~~quite~~ very dead.. sigh.. wah really tired >.< work-tuition-work-tuition-.. gave a total of 4 tuition lessons last week.. with the fact that i have to do my usual stuff.. haha total madness!

last thurs was spent giving tuition after work..

fri.. went to eat at sakura for dinner.. somehow i think that sakura's standard dropped? used to think tt its a v nice buffet restaurant last time.. but now kinda sian of the food there xD i need to try new food more often..

sat.. went to raffles city starbucks to pay for my ISE camp fees.. before meeting my sis at somerset 313 to eat lunch.. window shopped a little.. and went home pretty early cause my sis was feeling drowsy from her medicine.. TOOK A NAP :D.. and tuition at night!

sun.. met sheena to shop at bugis street to shop! (: OMG I REALLY FEEL V STUPID I TELL YOU.. i nvr knew tt the stuff at bugis street is so much cheaper as compared to tt in far east!! i always thought that they were abt the same price tts why i always go far east D: omg.. rawrrr.. okay nvm at least now i know (:.. sheena was supposed to be the one stalking up on her wardrobe.. ended up tt i spend more than her =.=.. bought a cardigan which i have always needed for $10.. and another jacket which i really like for $15.. in far east $25 will probably get me a shirt only =.=.. walked around bugis junction too while eating hokkaido ice cream (:.. bought jco donuts and then went home (:.. managed to grab a short nap when i got home before having dinner.. and then tuition again! slept really late..

.. and woke up really early this morning for medical check up.. zz.. to all NUS students out there! if you are going for the medical check up.. PLS DUN BOTHER GETTING/BUYING/WEARING A PLAIN SHIRT =.=.. super spastic la.. i was looking high and low for a plain shirt with no prints/logo/collar/buttons yesterday.. and then today when we took the xray.. everyone was supposed to change to the xray gown thing regardless of what shirt you wear =.=.. haha so yeah.. the medical check up was pretty simple.. good thing i went with yilina so the waiting part wasnt boring xD.. so went to work after tt..

hello! (: wah this week really flew by in a flash.. i didnt even realise tt today is friday actually.. must be cause of my really busy schedule and all the OT-ing..zz.. i really feel as though i have lost touch with the world.. cause now i rarely go on msn/read blogs cause no time D:

lets see.. sunday!
i rmb i was really tired.. was nua-ing and trying to drag the time so that i dun need to step out of the house.. but finally went out at 2pm in the end after the constant nagging of my sis..went to far east to get the shirt which i hav been eyeing.. and the shoes which my sis have been wanting.. and then to suntec city.. supposedly to shop.. but guess what we did! i basically spent the entire afternoon helping my sis fix her photo exhibition thing at suntec.. yeah cause her club organised this competition thing.. and apparently some bluetack/tape things were coming off from the winning photos.. and her president who was supposed to be in charge was busy dating his gf =.=.. so he came down super late.. yeah so bought some masking tape and bluetack.. and we just fixed the thing while ppl were passing by.. haha kinda embarrassing cause we looked like we were stealing the photos..but pretty fun la.. cause i was being really retarded ~~making fun of mr stupid president and got my sis to tell him to do the most embarrassing tasks~~ and we finally finished it at 6!.. walked around a little but didnt get anithing.. so we ate dinner.. and went to the IT fair.. thank god that there was world cup (: so it was less crowded than we thought! saw patricia and qiyan shopping for laptop there! lol they have really really good deals there! so bought a printer ~~which is still in its box even until today~~ and then went home :D

monday! only interesting thing was the long lunch i took at merchant court.. haha.. the price was surprisingly really cheap for tt kinda standard since it was a weekday lunch (: really worth it in my opinion.. the rest of the day was just work work.. and OT!

tuesday! took half day leave! woohoo you dunno how happy i was when i left the office :D temporarily no work and finally getting a long needed rest.. went to turf city to makan! and then went to look at the second hand cars.. i nvr realised that royal purple cars can look so nice xD.. i wanttt.. well i did my job in finding out abt the price.. so its up to my parents to decide whether they wanna get one.. (but actually now im pretty scared to drive a car on the road.. =x.. bleagh im following the steps of my mum!).. so after tt went to beauty world there cause wanted to create a uob account.. but we didnt know that uob closes at 4pm!??! tts so early!! rawrrr.. so didnt get a chance to and just went home to sleep for 3 hours :D omg it was super shuang! felt so refreshed when i woke up :D

basically went to sentosa to have class outing :D woohoo successful class outing ftw <33.. really had lots of fun catching up with them.. playing frisbee.. running around on the super hot sand.. bridge.. exploring the beaches.. going to resorts world for dinner.. and then going to siloso beach at night just to chit chat.. its really nice talking to ppl at the beach at night (:.. its a very peaceful place to talk abt lots of things..really fun day indeed (:

i think i went for driving in the morning.. before going home to rest.. was really tired from all the running the previous day.. and headed off to cityhall mrt to meet the rest of the bandees (:.. new york new york it was! before we headed off to VCH.. (when is VCH ever going to get demolished??) yeah aniway great job juniors (: i think its really one of the nicest capriccio in all these years..close to full house sia..and i like the gimmicks xD hahah.. they probably didnt see our 2 rows of standing ovation..our batch so on whoo.. and it just feels different watching and performing for a concert..

Went for driving before meeting lz and jason at west mall for lunch.. we were supposed to go to lz's house to play badminton.. but ended up accompanying him to shop for presents for his mum and grandma at jurong point instead.. haha okay he was the one running up and down.. while me and jason just took our time to walk around xD.. and helping him carry his presents.. headed over to his place to play wii for a while.. and then mahjong time!

hmm i seriously cant rmb what happened during the weekdays.. i rmb going out.. but i cant rmb to where.. and yeah lots of OTs =.=

5June(Saturday)
DRIVING TEST!!! haahah.. oh man i was super scared on tt day okay.. quotes instructor during warm up ýou can drive very well.. all your skills are there but you are not being yourself! WHERE IS CYNTHIA!?!?' HAHA the way he say it was really funny xD he just tell me to relax and drive like how i always do.. but i was being extra careful and driving slower than usual.. well the test went pretty well and thank god it didnt rain! the clouds had been threatening to pour since 9am tt day.. so yeah i passed :D happy happy.. actually i must thank my lucky stars for giving me a pretty safe test route.. which doesnt have too many lane changes (: not too many jay walkers on tt day too!

after tt went to meet my mum at suntec and eat at this japanese restaurant.. (yeah i have been eating lots of ramen lately).. it was pretty late by then cause had to watch some video thing after the test.. and applied for my driving licence.. was supposed to go attend the seminar which my sis helped to organise.. ended up just going there to say hi and she said no more seats liao =.= lol (yes i was secretly happy).. headed off to little india cause my mum had to help her friend get this hair dye thing.. yeah it was so heavy cause we ended up buying three huge packets.. bought lots of fruit as well (:.. the mangoes were really v sweet :D and v cheap too! haha.. tts my fav past time when i go out with my mum.. FRUITS :D.. after tt just sat down at this indian restaurant to buy food.. sat there to eat some snacks.. which we really didnt know how to eat!! haha it was this round dumpling/bread looking thing.. with orange powder at the side.. and a small cup of coconut milk..

6June(Sunday)
my mum's bday (: everyone woke up really late.. so we ended up eating at madjack cause we were starvingggg.. headed off to vivocity to shop around.. ate cake at secret recipe (: *droolssss*.. showed my mum how a macbook pro works.. since my dad wanted to buy it for her as a bday present..~~even though my mum keeps insisting tt she doesnt want cause she knows tt he's going to use it for himself~~ HAHA :D they are so hilarious! and then went to far east cause my mum wanted to check her eyesight.. but the shop just closed when we got there ):.. so my mum and bro went home first.. leaving me and my sis to shop at far east! haha we were tempted by so many things.. so much better as compared to vivo.. where we got nothing at all.. lol..

7June(Monday)
ended work on time! (: yes cause i had to run away to go to my mum's friend's place.. and i really nvr knew tt there's such a nice bungalow existing in singapore okay!!! OMGGG its freaking nice!! there's a swimming pool.. and a jacuzzi nxt to it.. they have a huge tv on their second floor which is specially for playing wii.. the master room is linked to a balcony, studyroom, wardrobe and toilet.. and their wardrobe is bigger than my room?!!?.. and they even have an óffice' inside the toilet.. dun ask me why in the world they put chairs and table inside the toilet.. and the house looks really really new.. its really like a resort pls!!! wahh they invited us over for dinner.. and they were really v hospitable.. played wii with the kids(okay actually teenagers) before tt.. and all of them were from river valley pri.. lol so coincidental.. apparently they miss the old rv campus alot cause there were 2 canteens =p..aniway the dining area is completely like a hotel restaurant!! the napkins were wrapped in this really nice wire thing.. and they even arranged the food really nicely.. had a ten-course dessert meal after tt :D i think there were more than 10 different types of cakes on the table :D.. cause they prepared some and we brought alot as well.. whee.. went to watch tv with the kids after tt.. and they showed us their hamster(pikachu) and their previous hamster's grave(tuki tuki).. haha yeah see they are so lame =.=.. before we headed home ):

Went to market cafe after work to eat dinner (:.. yum yum.. the durian thing's nice :D v smooth! so much nicer than other restaurant's.. headed off to funan after tt cause someone wanted to get POKEMON!?!?.. but it was closed le.. so we went to plaza sing instead.. and then we went to macdonalds for a while cause he wanted to play it straight away..HAHA.. and we headed home after tt

12June(Saturday)
Went to lz's house cause we wanted to make up for the previous badminton session.. but apparently there were only slots at 8-9pm.. LOL.. jason was already there.. we slacked around a while.. while they were busy playing pokemon =.= so after kaijun came.. we ate lunch and mahjong time :D.. still quite lousy at tt game.. the rules are so cheem!! >.<.. after tt played poker and i became the biggest loser..lol..at least tt shows tt i dont gamble you see :D.. unlike someone -glares-..but it was fun though.. after kj left.. jason went for a swim while waiting for our kfc to come.. ate dinner and then we went to play badminton! fun (: but tiring sia.. no stamina.. tt frozen syrup thing and the ice cream tasted so good after tt.. and then went home after tt (:

oh i rmb going for driving.. followed by the simulator machine thing which i didnt find realistic at all.. its supposed to depict how you should react to avoid an accident and know the stopping distance of the car.. but its pretty laggy.. so uhh HAHA.. aniway yeah so tt night went to illuma with gwen and kanzy to eat dinner at chef daniel's kitchen.. its at the rooftop so i dun think many ppl know of its existence.. nice quiet place to talk to your friends.. ~~you'll probably want to go there to catch kanzy dating his gf there nxt time~~ but aniway!! yeah i think kanzy really recover v fast o.0.. so we headed off to some hotel nearby.. supposedly to find a bar cause he wanted to watch a live band performance.. but its closed =.=.. took a bus and wanted to go esplanade instead.. but we boarded the wrong bus and ended up at marina bay mrt??? HAHA took train back to city hall and walked to esplanade.. went to the roof top garden there.. bar there closed for some private event.. Left work early to go for Appassionata (:.. whee i really miss nycb D:.. one and only place where you can get tt kinda feeling.. dunno how to describe.. its just a v pleasant feeling to be there (:.. i wanna go back to secondary school D:.. i dun wanna grow up.. but now nycb is really huge omg o.0 bombarded the whole stage.. haha! 100+ members eh.. and the jazz band is really pro (:.. the trumpet tutor is imba!! guess we shall have to wait for 2 more years before there's another appassionata.. jiayou juniors for the competition in july (:

Met judy outside her office after work.. and we headed off to illuma to meet chai (who was with her section ~~who all ponned school to have section outing in the library HAHA~~) and sabrina to celebrate sabrina's bday!.. ate at state empire (: i must say the atmosphere there is really nice! nice funky chairs.. and the food is nice too (: talked quite alot and laughed at sabrina.. try spotting a picture of 2 baos when you go illuma nxt time and see whats wrong with it =.= LOL

Went over to marina square after work to meet chowder nana yili and joelyn for dinner! just acia! first time eating there.. wahah all 5 of us ordered the same thing sia..this fish thing with lots of cheese on top :D but its really not bad (: pretty cheap for tt kinda food too! chowder and joelyn were talking abt all the activities lined up for them at smu.. while yili and nana were talking abt ntu.. tt left me all alone talking to the plastic bag beside joelyn abt nus =.= HAHA joking la.. but smu really sounds like they have lots of life.. im still deciding whether to go for the orientation camps.. cause i really know quite few ppl going to nus.. zz.. i dun wanna go for the camps alone ):

20May10 (Thursday)
Took half day off.. and met yewngee at raffles place mrt before we head off to NUS for the ISE tea session! we are the most spastic ppl who dont see the signs.. first train we boarded terminates at outram park =.= so we had to get off and board another train.. didnt even realise la.. and when we wanted to get off at buona vista.. we were too busy talking tt we missed the stop and had to get off at clementi instead =.=.. spastic.. so aniway we reached there pretty early! and tt place was pretty ulu tt we thought we were at the wrong place.. had to call my sis for help.. HAHA.. but aniway okay soon it started.. the session is pretty informative imo (: at least they told us what do they offer and what kind of programmes they have.. i find the project in year 4 quite interesting (: its like you will be assigned to a company and you are supposed to work out a real industrial problem for them.. and if its successful they'll undertake our suggestion.. they showed us some examples and they sound pretty cool (: not those boring problems that i expected.. so yup looking forward to it (: and of course all the attachments.. and student exchange programmes (:.. kinda boosted my confidence since the course really offers good career prospects nxt time.. pretty 'recession-prove' course in their words.. cause yeah you can basically go aniwhere.. had some refreshments after tt where we were supposed to talk to the professors there.. and i cant believe tt my sister's friends can all recognise me =.= 2 of the students who were there came up to me and said 'hi! are you hanny's sister?' =.= we dun look alike at all but they say they can still roughly tell.. aiyah actually understandable.. since there were so few girls there.. only 20/30 plus ppl went.. so yeah.. we were the first to leave nus.. HAHA.. cause had nth to ask them.. wanted to go clementi to eat ice cream.. but the v smart us boarded the wrong bus and ended up at buona vista =.= with nowhere to go.. so home it was! wah finally could go home early (:

Couldnt get a nice booking slot for driving so decided not to go.. went off to town with my sis instead.. our shopping speed has progressively improved.. cleared the basement of far east within 2+ hours? and cleared the whole of far east before going over to ion and wisma.. random note: the wanton mee at far east is really nice (: after which went outside marina gallery and then to cineleisure to buy dinner before heading home.. not v successful shopping trip.. haha! wait for GSS this weekend then buy xD met kendrick on the bus back home and it was really nice catching up with him.. havnt seen him in ages omg! its amazing how we can still recognise friends whom we havnt seen in close to ten yrs o.0

this week.. *scratches head* i dun recall going aniwhere.. HAHA.. except going to school this morning to collect my a lvl cert.. but i met frannie on the train on monday i think.. didnt know that she dyed her hair!! it was really funny.. we were barely 1m apart.. but we could hardly talk properly cause there were sooo many ppl on the train.. woah today was eventful! so busy throughout the entire day.. band prac this morning seemed so long ago!

so aniway started off the day going for alumni band prac (: its pretty normal.. just praying hard tt nth goes wrong on monday and everything will be fine (:

after band prac.. went off to somerset 313 with judy sab and bernice to eat lunch.. but they apparently forgot my order even though i rushed them so many times =.= didnt get to eat at that F.I.S.H place in the end cause i was rushing off to meet shimin at city hall mrt at 2.30.. the food there looks pretty good though!..

yup so aniway met shimin and we went off to conrad for the NTU tea session! nearly got lost along the way.. but luckily managed to get there in time (:.. haha luckily there wasnt any registration at all.. (cause i crashed).. met sheena and the class guys there.. before yilina came slightly later.. quite surprised to see so many of our class ppl there la! omg.. almost my entire class taking accountancy/business.. and most of them are going to NTU o.0.. im quite shocked tt even the guys made that choice.. lol.. saw some other familiar faces as well.. the talk was pretty fei4 =/.. wanted to listen to the stuff that they are going to offer.. but apparently they only talked abt the general stuff.. like.. 'are you ready for challenges?'and 'focus more on your strengths' and tt kinda thing.. the session after the talks were more engaging ba.. this senior who was from hwachong 04s67 talked to us.. and clarified our doubts and all.. so yup slacked around a while.. catching up with classmates.. before heading off to sentosa!

so me gwen and yilina headed off to sentosa via the monorail! met joelyn at the tram place.. and headed off to siloso beach! supposed to go to wavehouse (is tt the name of the place?) but the 3 of us ended up walking along the beach first.. watching the sunset (: and talking abt random stuff! really nice to just chill out and sit there (:.. after the sun set.. we made our way to wavehouse again.. more camwhoring.. but i think tt place is a really nice place (:.. as long as the volleyballs dont suay suay hit you =p.. oh ya.. AND IM OFFICIALLY V SCARED OF ANGMOHS!! wahpiang.. they can get overly open and friendly.. kinda freaked us out.. shall not type it here.. come ask me if you wanna know abt it.. but luckily we were as a group.. so yup! after catching up on each other.. we just headed home! so tired sia.. and we were so stickly by the time we reached home..

a quiet friday

its surprisingly quiet for a friday!! wonder where everyone has gone too o.0 perhaps all the guys are still in camp.. tts why half the population are still missing.. lol.. but its gonna be a busy busy weekend! xD

lets see last weekend was spent shopping with my family.. went to orchard central, somerset 313 and marina square on saturday.. the ramen place at the B3 of somerset 313 is really good xD go try their signature ramen!! but in contrast the jap restaurant in marina square.. kinda deteriorated in standard.. (paiseh i cant rmb the names of the restaurants).. but from what i rmbed.. tt place was supposed to serve really good hokkaido ice cream.. but hmmm.. it was just average on saturday.. then sunday! daddy came! went to jurong point in the evening to accompany my mum to shop for her clothes since she needed to find one to wear for her im-not-very-sure-what-event-it-is lol!.. ate at that beef noodle stall.. the queues at the restaurants there are always so longgg D:.. boo!.. lalala

monday! haha the company provided lunch! to celebrate last yr's achievements.. and to award the employees of the yr award for last yr! pretty heartwarming (: i think its really small little stuff like these that will keep a company going and encourage everyone to work even harder in their own fields (:.. its nice to see everyone gathering together.. and congratulating those award recipients (:.. and my supervisor is one of the two who got! haha omg! i should go learn more stuff from her while i can :D..

tuesday had alumni prac! woah for the first time it was so successful xD (okay the v first prac was not counted).. SOOOO many ppl came omg.. LOL.. fun fun (: finally the band is sounding more full! think it'll be much better if percussions are added!.. celebrated sab's bday with a cake after prac.. ahh im feeling so guilty.. i've been eating cake quite often lately D:.. unhealthyy.. shall cut down and eat healthily!! FRUITS FTW <3.. aniway tmr is the last band prac! whoo exciting :D hope we'll make exponential improvement! cant believe appassionata is in 3 days time! OMGGG

have been feeling tired for the past few days.. dun ask me whyy.. its going to be a really hectic week ahead.. i wont be eating dinner at home for five consecutive days starting tmr!!! guilty >.<.. but so busy siaaa.. tmr is going to be a long long day but im feeling lazy to pack my stuff xD.. band prac.. hello! (: havnt blogged in abt two weeks! cause i was really busy last week! glad that this week is much better (:.. tt actually reminds me.. i have no idea what's my salary last month o.0 i better go check my bank account to see whether they have transferred the money over o.0..

im pretty lazy to recall what has happened in the last two weeks.. just rmbed watching ironman.. and one more show i think.. which i cant really recall now.. oh man my memory is failing me D:.. and i know i went somewhere else.. but i cant rmb as well.. oh mannn.. zzz.. ok lets not try to recall the past animore.. talk abt the future!

ISE tea session on 20may! (:.. finally getting to know what exactly the course is all about.. i think i'll wait till then before i really decide that i want the course.. its pretty scary you know! the decision i make now.. is going to affect me for the rest of my life.. pretty much determines my career prospects.. (even though engineering can lead to alot of places).. hmm.. and my parents are super smart la! ýou can take any course you like.. your choice! just make sure that you dun regret nxt time cause you chose it yourself (:' zzz.. smarttt.. im so going to do that to my kids nxt time.. :D.. but really im going to feel guilty if i screw up my own future.. and NTU hasnt replied me yet D:.. im slowly becoming like yingqi and checking the joint acceptance thing everyday.. HAHA.. i'll seriously consider NTU if i get the double degree course.. especially after yew ngee went to stalk on our future coursemates on facebook.. HAHA.. so pressurised laaaa.. but somehow.. i think i'll still end up in ISE no matter how much i consider..since i have plans to take MBA nxt time.. haha lets see abt tt (:

and im still trying to figure out what CCAs there are in NUS.. must start thinking already.. i dun want my uni life to be sian... cause its probably going to be last few years that i can truly enjoy myself.. before work starts and yada yada.. life will get alot tougher.. im pretty decided on going for the student exchange programmes and overseas CIPs.. shall just wait to grab the opportunities (:.. (yeah ive been wanting to go for OCIP since like SECONDARY SCHOOL!??! but somehow something always crop up/clash with some programme.. zzz suayyy) and im not sure whether i should join band again.. considering that i've been in band for about ten yrs of my life? o.0 tts more than half my life! omg.. maybe its time to try something new.. but nth seems to interest me so far =p.. hmmm..

on a sidenote.. i've been receiving lots of tuition offers these few days o.0.. haha tts a good thing la (:.. hopefully there will be one that is convenient.. hoping to continue teaching even when i enter uni.. so i wont hav to drop the kid halfway (:..

urgh i hate it when my grandma nags 'so late then come home'(in chinese) in TT tone.. when i got home like BEFORE ELEVEN!?!?!? urghh.. seriously!! hello im already NINETEEN.. and my freaking work end so late.. everyday i'll reach home close to 8 even if i rush back.. and i already told you that i was going to eat out with friends and you agreed? what you expect me to eat outside.. take transport.. order and gobble my food down and make it home in one hr? fine.. last time i understand why you want me to be home by ten.. cause i have school the next day and i have to wake up early the nxt day.. but today is FRIDAY?!?! and if you are concerned abt my safety.. its not like i go to ulu places.. you should see how freaking crowded the buses always are at night!!! she should probably go out and see for herself how crowded singapore is at night =.=

yea yea thanks continue nagging.. doesnt help tt both my siblings are always stuck at home (dont ask me why).. and i seem to be the only one hanging out with friends.. urgh.. pissed off.. you want me to lock myself at home the whole day? oh yeah great..maybe i should do that someday and rot for you to see.. perhaps i shouldnt even go for alumni prac eh? cause i'll reach home after 10pm every tues cause of tt =.=

my dad was telling me 'go out and make friends while you are still in school cause they are the ones who will ultimately last a life time'.. i kinda agree with him.. afterall he has undergone quite a number of life experiences.. and he actually told me some of the regrets and treasured moments that he have in his life.. and here.. his mum is trying to coop me up (: VERY GOOD!

driving~ did the circuit's slope and vertical parking!.. zzz stupid handbrake.. somehow i nvr managed to pull the handbrake all the way up.. prays tt the car wont roll back while on the slope during my test >.<.. went home to attempt to sleep.. but to no avail.. lol.. and off to chomp chomp for band dinner! haha the car ride there was erm amusing! chauffeur doesnt know the way.. so chauffeur's dad has to keep on telling him what to do non-stop.. im sry but i just couldnt help laughing =p ~~and he complained tt his dad was so noisy HAHA~~.. okay aniway we somehow managed to end up at chompchomp.. all the uncles and aunties there ar =.= zzz shall not comment.. and my hp spoilt D: so yada yada.. eat eat.. then slacked around at macs to ~~blow aircon~~ play the impossible test! its addictive xD whee.. then home sweet home!

whoo long long weekend.. and i spent the entire day shopping with my sis.. somehow.. i would rather that there's no public holidays.. cause i'll always end up feeling guilty after all the spending >.< but kinda satisfied cause i finally got some stuff which i wanted to buy since long ago -.-.. so yup :D.. at least i have more office wear now.. though i still need to get a wallet and black heels.. rahh

3April (Saturday)
went for driving! then off to orchard central to do rock climbing with a monkey! actually not really rock climbing.. its the ladder thing.. dunno what its called xD really really fun but v tiring! especially since i nvr exercise for so long le..i needa train! climbed twice! while the monkey climbed three times! -.- somemore ar.. he took 7 mins to climb the more difficult route while i took 40 mins to climb the easier route =/ zzz.. i will improve! nxt aim: climb a tree!! :D but kinda glad that we managed to try out new stuff during this holiday (: best time to explore since we are so free now.. anyone have ani other suggestions on cool stuff to try out? :D

Driving! came home to sleep for a little while before heading off to judy's house.. slacked around with judy and sab.. and waited for our pizza to come.. finally arriving after 2.15 hrs!! zz yeah sab had to call them a total of three times to ask where was our order =.=.. lousy service leh.. but kinda pity the delivery man la.. the previous customer cancelled their order (for obvious reasons).. then he still had to continue seeing unhappy customers cause ALL the orders were v v v v late =/

11April (Sunday)
met simin again at the driving centre! wanted to wave to her while driving xD HAHA.. but didnt see choonmin this week.. hmm.. took the shuttle bus together to bukit gombak mrt after driving to get our bubble tea since we were craving for it.. yeahh the weather was really really hot D:.. and it was NOON! D: D:.. but the bubble tea there isnt as nice as normal.. guess they specialise more in their desserts.. so went down to marina square to meet the study grp! who just had their buffet at pariss.. i still cant believe that jinyang actually treated everyone there o.0 omgg.. so we went to play pool! where there was a áim the white ball into the hole'gang and 'the white ball must follow the black ball into the hole and let the opponent win'gang xD HAHA kinda hilarious =p all of us made really really stupid moves.. but yay! finally get to play it after a long long time xD then we headed for swensens to eat ice cream! where jinyang was trying to psycho everyone to sign on for life =.= and witnessed david's obsession with food once again.. you should see the look on his face when he got his first bite of ice cream.. and finished the whole thing by himself much faster than the three of us who shared a mudpie.. talked abt lots of random stuff before heading back home!

heyo! (: back from alumni band prac! whee at least i feel less guilty now =p.. and someone by the name of YEOH SUYI owes me a treat now cause she's supposed to go today but she didnt >:(.. haha okay la cause she had friendlies.. but she still owes me a treat aniway :D.. muaha!..

and i missed my final episode D: ahhh can someone pls tell me the ending? or its even better if you have a recording of it (:.. i wanna watch!! apparently heard that both zhengqiaobin and aili died.. why why why.. think it's a really well drafted story plot (: at least its not cliche.. was expecting the story to end off with all of them living happily even after =.=.. ahah but lucky it didnt..

voobeedoo.. gonna go sleep soon! there's still a whole pile of work waiting for me at work.. and more stacks will be coming tmr D:.. when can i ever get everything done.. just filed this massive stack of payments today.. into this fully-filled cupboard.. and even had to resort to using a second cupboard due to lack of space.. plus i used up more than 50 dividers! hello! (: i should really blog more often since its the holidays now.. thinking back.. i cant really rmb what has happened owing to my failing memory.. haha old already xD..

aniway went for ntu interview today! its more or less like a chit-chat session.. so to those who are applying for business/ accountancy.. dont worry too much (: its pretty easy de.. but i havnt had an interview before.. so i kinda gave very normal and standard answers =/.. and my essay was pretty off.. oh well.. its okay.. just go there for the experience (:.. the outcome doesnt really matter! (those who know what course i wanna take should know why =p) but thanks alot shimin for the advice during lunch (:..

lets see.. oh and 'how to train your dragon' is a nice show to watch in 3D (: really beats alice in wonderland.. where the only nice 3D effect was when she fell into the hole =.=.. haha.. and toothless is so cute (:.. lalala.. i wanna watch kaiji! seems like a cool show (: but i have no idea why its not shown in GV.. anyone watched that movie already? >.< doubt so actually.. hmm..

earth hour on saturday... but it didnt really feel like earth hour... besides fish and co which offed all their lights and let their customers enjoy candlelight dinner.. everywhere else is pretty much lit up.. okay it seemed dimmer than usual.. but i guess we could all make do with that? its still v bright along orchard road! haha.. shows how much power we waste unnecessarily eh! and this somehow reminds me of how my com likes to jam on me at work.. HAHA okay no link =.=.. but i will be able to work more efficiently if it didnt take that long to process all the payments (:

1. Do something enjoyable.

Enjoyable things can be simple acts that are easy to do, don’t cost very much, and don’t take much planning.

Just sitting quietly in my garden and enjoying a cup of tea is very enjoyable for me! I love baking. I like to paint my toenails. Read a chapter of my book. Chat to a girlfriend. I like to plan to visit a new place, and discovering something new and cool. I love tending my garden. I really enjoy journaling and writing.

Of course, a girly pamper is always nice – facials, haircuts, manicures, pedicures, massages.

Take time to really enjoy them. Allow yourself to glow with happiness each day.

2. Do something active.

Spend 30 minutes of your day working up a sweat! Get your heart rate up! Skip. Swim. Run up and down steps. Go for a jog. Ride a bike. Find a step, turn on some music, and do a step workout. Do squats and leg lunges. Go to the beach and have a run. Take a stroll. Do some gardening. Kick a ball in the park with your kids.

hello (: shall liven this blog up a bit! the first two days of work so far was not bad xD YAY! haha at least its really more interesting than the previous one.. got to learn some stuff cause im helping an accountant.. packed the long table with stacks and stacks of papers o.0 and had to look through and tally so many figures.. settled the employee's claims.. did some simple editting of the contracts.. and filed the chinese banks payments.. yes omg its so embarrassing when i cant read the cheem chinese banks'names.. úhh sry i have a question.. how do you read this word?' HAHA.. omg mati already la.. nxt month gonna do some bank transactions thing.. gotta email them and they might call me and speak in CHINESE! HAHA omg someone pls give me a crash course! i know yi qian is one thousand.. yi wan is ten thousand.. yi yi is one billion.. HAHA.. omgomg lets just pray hard that nth too bad happens >.< but its definitely not as monotonous as before (: (although i admit that im abit sad abt leaving the previous company cause the ppl there are really nice >.<).. kinda glad that there are many things to do actually.. after one thing is done.. they'll throw me with another load of work to do.. at least i wont get bored (: so time passes really quickly!

and yay! now can eat with shimin and judy for lunch everyday! :D since the whole world is working at raffles place! :D yay yay.. many many good food around.. so tempting *salivates*..

bleagh ntu double degree interview nxt week ): and there's a written test.. zzz.. how how ): i really dunno what kinda questions they will ask.. and i dun think anyone have gone for the interview yet? so no clues around.. oh well.. lets just see how it goes..

NUS: yes you may apply, but chances of you getting it is very very slim. It is very unlikely that you will get it

and tt was the only scholarship that i wanted to apply for..

really.. its not about the amount of money that im trying to save.. its more of the way they are discriminating against PRs =.=

so much for the effort that the government is trying to put in to attract foreign talents.. yes you can say that there are some scholarships which are given to foreigners as well.. but you know what? since i am PR i dont even think im considered to be in the category of çitizens of indonesia' by the simple logic that the deadline of university application for international students probably closed long ago..and by now they should have shortlisted their candidates .. so what im a PR and im neither here nor there.. =.=

and i have to pay the same amt of CPF as singaporeans?

yes yes.. pls take away more priviledges from us PRs =.=.. isnt that what the government have been doing the past few months? kinda resigned to the fate already..

HELLO :D i havnt blogged for nearly two weeks! so here i am! bahhh have been going out so much recently.. out of the past 6 days.. i've only been home for dinner once? omg this is bad.. guilty >.<.. lets see.. friday went to shokudo after work.. sat.. band steamboat (:.. sunday ate at xin wang.. monday at home.. tues alumni band prac.. and yesterday ate at ajisen with the tofus! and this sat there's still chingay outing (:.. omg im really going broke D: whee really hope that i can make it this time before sam returns to aussie.. so many university open houses these few weeks.. and the application forms are already coming in.. OMG A LVL RESULTS OUT NXT FRIDAYYYY D:

i cant really rmb what happened for the rest of the days.. but yesterday's dinner was nice =).. well we probably finished eating by 7+ but we ended up talking till 9? talking time > eating time.. haha.. and speaking of university application is really freaking me out.. oh man.. i've been experiencing this feeling whereby i feel as though something's stuck in my throat whenever i think abt nxt friday >.<.. OKAY I SHALL THINK NO MORE >.<

tmr's end of feb! which means its PAY DAY :D omg omg my first pay in my whole life :D.. exciting! lets just hope that i dun need to pay as much cpf as singaporeans.. we'll see tmr when the cheque comes.. and aniway does anione wanna take over my job in april? planning to stay till only the end of march and they need replacements.. i believe there will at least be 3 vacancies available? actually start now also can.. but you'll be doing scanning xD HAHA.. so yup do talk to me if you need a job :D

and oh crap.. i still need to spare some time for my final theory practice.. cause my deadline for evaluation is nxt week!! rahhh.. no time no time..

hellooo =) first of all.. HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR :D whooo i have spent the whole day sleeping and stoning at home.. how nice is tt :D looking back.. i have been working for 2 weeks le o.0 woah tts fast.. and now its a long weekend! :D lets just hope that there'll be things to do these few days..

have been eating lots of good food these few days thanks to chinese new yr! hmm.. lets see friday went to eat at turf city after work :D first time no lobsterrrr.. they only had really huge ones cause they were probably expecting huge crowds.. so yeah..

yesterday! went marina square to eat pariss for lunch! walk walk around.. then went plaza sing to watch percy jackson and the lightning thief.. pretty nice show actually =) beats some cliche movies.. played arcade for a little while.. before i went to have family dinner at park mall ~~and got spied by my family =.=~~! another buffet! met joelyn there! omg so qiao la =p but the food there is kinda erm.. HAHA.. i think they anihow cook one la.. cause there were sooo many ppl.. but its really not a good idea to have 2 buffets on one day!! wah i came home totally bloated.. but this morning i woke up feeling hungry for some weird reason..

gonna go chai's house for steamboat dinner tmr =) and is class outing still on on tuesday? i needa get out of this house for the next two days.. staying at home for one whole day is pretty boring =p i'll just continue sleeping like there's no tmr.. oh yeah and i still need to buy some clothes for workkkk..

hello! (: today was a pretty boring/ interesting day.. lol i dunno how to describe it! but well.. went for shopping with my mum and bro to IMM.. while my dad and sis watched the airshow.. funniest thing was tt call.. auntie christina was instructed by uncle william to call my mum i think! while my dad was telling my mum to call auntie christina!.. lol the way the two mummies reacted was so funny xD and they are gonna have lunch together tmr! good thing that i have work tmr so im spared from joining them =p.. think its gonna be pretty interesting cause my mum has been trying to wreck her head thinking of what to say to her for 2 hrs tmr! HAHA.. dunno what the two daddies are up to =.=..

then went for driving after tt! haha omg the driving instructor is like an ex-band member! from bukit panjang govt high.. and he's still super active in band.. he's in NIE band too.. lol.. damn funny la! throughout the whole session we just kept talking abt band band.. and so little abt driving.. then i progress super slowly again.. LOL.. and now we are friends on msn! LOL wth right! jialat la.. i dunno why all my instructors will always talk so much during our session.. (and the team leader promised to treat me to japanese crab if i pass my driving test :D).. if i continue this way ar.. its gonna take super long for me to pass my driving =p.. maybe i should act super fierce nxt time.. then the instructors wont be as friendly.. then can chiong driving! lol its all a trade off! but okay la its quite fun talking rubbish while driving round and round in circles =p.. just tt i nearly knocked down a little boy just now.. wahlao.. tt stupid boy ar.. just DASH across the road without even looking.. the instructor also got a shock of his life sia.. first time that it happened even though he has worked there for years? luckily nth happened.. otherwise i wont dare to touch a car ever again.. oh ya and i was complaining to the instructor that i was progressing really slow.. then he was like ýou think you v bad isit? aiyah dun worry la.. i have seen so many ppl who are much worse than you.. anyway girls tend to drive very safely.. so they'll naturally take a longer time to learn.. ' muaha such a nice consolation =p and he was forcing me to just step on tt accelerator and made me drive at 80km/h.. and doing all sorts of weird things like.. í hope you will stall while you are on the public road.. and lets pray tt it rains today!' wahlao whole day curse.. in the end i stalled twice.. and made him super happy =.=.. basically our convo was super retarded.. instructor:óie why you keep on stalling!' me:í wanna make you happy ma! see la i stall twice already you super happy right! i can make you happier by stalling more times!' instructor: 'thank you thank you ya i v happy..you v nice.. dun make me happier le hor..too happy will get headache one' -.-...and he honked the car for no apparent reason while i was changing gear.. and i got a shock cause i thought that the car behind me was honking at me.. and 10 sec later.. he was like áctually the person honking just now was me..' =.='''''''''' i wanna pass asappp

hello! (: let me recount what i have been doing! i realised i havnt been saying much here.. haha.. shall just say a few interesting events..

HMMM.. where should i start.. oh ya last fri was my bday! thanks for all the wishes <33

last sunday! ntu concert! they are really strong.. esp the trombones.. first time i hear them nvr crack at all.. but the songs were all of the same kind.. so lots of ppl were dozing off.. lol.. and SOMEONE had to make me bring back the pineapple D:.. my hardwork wasted.. tskkkk

this wed! was supposed to have dinner with my didi cause he wanted to treat! sry didi D: nxt time okay :D

this thursday! went to tekong! haha it was really quite an experience actually :).. the living conditions are really much better than i had expected.. but its pretty scary how they made them behave even though they had just gone in for one hr? the nric no thing was super funny though xD.. and now tt the guys have all gone into army.. it seems really quiet around here.. the no of ppl who are online has decreased by half.. tt means less ppl to kajiao.. D:.. kinda miss them.. but lets just hope they are doing fine in there (: I WANNA SEE THEIR HEADS HAHAHA

after tt went shopping with sabrina and jason at tampines.. i finally got a chance to see tampines mall sia.. but there's nth much there actually.. except this disney shop which sells disney stuff at an amazingly cheap price.. after that me and sab went to far east.. where we meet woody!.. shop shop shop.. before its time to meet the tofus at plaza sing! haha had manhattan.. THANK YOU TOFUS FOR THE TREAT <333 and it seems like everyone isnt very happy with their job.. either cause of the pay.. or the working conditions.. hmm.. working is tough la.. there's always a trade off i guess..

today! uhm went driving! woohoo driving on the public road is so much more fun as compared to in the circuit! and in a way its easier cause the roads are much wider! my braking is still not smooth though.. bleaghhhh... long way to go before i can pass!

alright think im gonna shop for new yr clothes tmr! and we are having a cny feast at work on monday! :D no red clothes to wear on monday.. bahhh how how.. shall go find something decent to wear.. hmm...

haha second day of work.. was.. worse than the first day! omg! i managed to finish doing tt PSPad thing for 70 books/journals/magazines! as compared to 10 yesterday! IM GOING TO FAINT AT THIS RATE.. omg.. around 2000 books more to go? oh man! lets jiayou sab! i think by the time we finish.. its time for us to leave the company already.. HAHA.. lets just pray tt they will be nice and let us do other random stuff *cross fingers*

haha i thought i havnt blogged for a really long time.. but i realised i just blogged.. 4 days ago? haha aniway! really happy tt im finally feeling useful!

first day of work was not bad la :D managed to learn how to use PSPad.. which was really shocking the first time i see it.. codes everywhere.. first thing which came to my mind was.. óh crap'.. took pretty long to get used to it.. but its not tt bad now la :D at least we get to learn how to use new softwares while working =p (YES IM LEARNING IT STUFF! surprising eh! =p) only thing is tt my eyes are so gonna die if i continue looking at the com screen all day long.. dun be surprised if i wear specs nxt time k! desperately trying to delay tt..

so i shall go off really soon! and stop using the com already! more computer work tmr! well good thing everyone there is really nice and friendly :D pleasant working environment! haha i guess tts the most impt thing ba :D the auntie at the cafeteria can speak malay.. and the malays can speak chinese? LOL it was really cool seeing them talking together :D

europe trip!

spain, france and italy was totally AWESOME :D.. it was really one of the greatest family trip tt i have been to.. probably cause 3 families go together.. thanks to the 3 daddies being good friends.. and the kids are all abt the same age.. so yea :D.. we had 15 ppl.. while there's only a total of 27 ppl in total.. so we practically took up more than half the tour grp =p

Disclaimer: i probably forgot the names of the places we have been to.. so pardon me =p.. shall just let the photos do the talking..

Day 1 (23 dec)- Jakarta, Singapore, Barcelona
Met everyone at jakarta airport.. lalala nth much la.. took the long long flight to barcelona which is in spain! transitted in singapore and milan.. was pretty worried abt the snowstorm since there were many reports abt it just the day before we fly.. but when we got there.. it wasnt snowing at all la! haha lucky us!.. saw a huge blanket of snow at milan though.. really pretty :D but we were stuck in the plane.. couldnt go out D:.. and on the last day of our trip when we got back to milan.. the snow was kinda pathetic.. all melted le D:..

Day 2 (24 Dec)- Barcelona
it was in the morning when we arrived.. so off we go to Spanish Village! its basically a place where they have a duplicate of all the famous buildings in all of Europe.. sry for the lousy pictures.. it was raining so couldnt really take nice shots..

nxt was Sagrada Familia Church.. it's a really pretty and grand church :D which hasnt been built finish yet cause they base it on charity for the $$ to build the church.. built by a v famous architect ~~whom i conveniently forgot the name.. sry =x~~.. but yeah his works were really good.. saw some of the other buildings designed by him while on the way.. and they were really one of a kind..

then we went to their shopping district to do some shopping! mostly for my mum cause my dad was getting picky abt what my mum was wearing.. guys ar =.= all like tt one..

oh ya.. pls be v v careful if you ever go europe nxt time.. the tour guide was just warning us that v day.. and tt night.. tada one person already got pickpocketed =x.. and the way those pickpockets do it is really imba!!.. havnt heard of a more cunning method than tt =/.. think he lost quite alot of money cause his wife just passed him the money which they just drew from the bank =/.. but aiyah they still spend alot on shopping in the end.. LOL..

and tt day's dinner was WOAHHHHHH.. ate at a chinese restaurants and had lobster, prawn, crab, clams and lots and lots of stuff.. crazy laaa.. i think we totally busted the budget for tt day's meal =p.. it would hav probably cost 1000+ bucks per table of 9 if we order them in singapore.. but somehow.. it only added up to around S$400 per table.. which is a really good deal.. considering tt there were more than 12 dishes! lesson learnt: do not let a hungry teenager decide the menu.. LOL

Day 3 (25 Dec)- Barcelona, Valencia

Left barcelona.. and headed over to valencia! i think it was a few hrs drive..

another stop at this bull fighting ring place! but we couldnt watch the bull fights cause they werent in season =( must go in march may july or october..if i didnt rmb wrongly =p.. so yea.. we could only see the building from outside D:

drank red wine during lunch! and we keep on doing cheers so many times! uncle william kept on telling us to bottoms up so tt we could finish all the wine.. until his kids say 'BU YAO JIAO HUAI XIAO HAI!!'HAHA.. funny part is when the daddies turn around or get distracted by something else.. all the mummies will always pour their share of wine into their glasses =p HAHAHA

Touring of Valencia :D with a local guide! yada yada explaining all the origins of the place.. ~~and i cant rmb a single thing~~

Day 4 (26 dec)- Valencia, Madrid
Travelled by bus again to madrid! well.. i think the itinerary was kinda slack on that day.. the only plan was to watch 'flamenco' at night.. so our really nice tour guide ronald.. decided to bring us to another small city a little off madrid!

oversee-ing the city :D omg this is really really a spastic photo! cause it was raining.. and the railings were wet.. and we would be blocking the view if we stand up.. SO GUESS WHAT! MA2 BU4!! HAHA OMG yeah man.. you can totally see who are sitting down and who are half squatting! spastic xD AND THE PARENTS ARRRR.. tskkk purposely take v long to take the photos.. éhh sry sry! wrong angle! TAKE AGAIN!' =.=.. but haha dont worry.. it was revenge time when the parents were taking their photos =p.. the kids all purposely press the wrong button.. HAHA!! yeah man we rock :D

btw.. here are the 9 kids who always play together during the trip =) good thing we are all abt the same age.. so there's no age gap =p all between 15-21 yrs old? and try spotting the pair of twins!!! LOL omg they are seriously the most unidentical pair of twins i ever know.. they are TOTAL OPPOSITES man.. and one of them is from TJC band? haha its really a small world..we were like ómg! we went to the same exchange TWICE!?!'cause he was from tanjong katong sec.. HAHA v funny =p..

Flamenco was nxt! did a little shopping before tt to warm ourselves up in the shop.. it was really getting cold =x esp at night..

well.. the show itself was kinda boring =/ its a local dance la.. no offence k.. but i guess its not for our age.. HAHA.. so you can imagine what the kids table was doing.. we were more amused by the meal itself.. and each person had one glass of red wine, champagne and white wine each! HAHA! it was crazy! and ditto actually finished a whole bottle of red wine in addition to that cause nobody else could drink.. was fun seeing ditto and victor competing each other in drinking.. and how victor's brothers will pour more wine into his glass TO THE BRIM when he wasnt looking! HAHA.. but wine really helps to keep us warm in winter =) so the weather felt much better after tt =p

Day 5 (27 Dec)- Madrid
so the nxt morning.. we went to Royal Palace! preserved for many many centuries! the interior is really v nice and grand :D different rooms will have different decorations and themes.. love the painting on the ceilings =p mostly of angels and humans.. funny thing was that.. one of the rooms' paintings resemble tt of chinese history =/ no idea whyyy.. the tour guide didnt know either.. sad that there's no photos since its not allowed.. so there the exterior of the royal palace!

Prado Museum was next! well just to look at painting by goya! really big place yet it was sooo crowded! we had to use earphones to listen to the explanations of the works.. they only explained a few cause time was tight.. (good thing for raymond cause he wasnt interested in tt place AT ALL LOL)

After tt.. we went to VALLEY OF THE FALLEN!!! OMG OMG this is definitely my fav place in the whole trip =p its a church at a hilltop! so we took really long to get there.. it was really really freezing and there was snow on the floor.. and when we reached there.. it really felt like HEAVENN.. we were overlooking the whole city.. as well as the snow mountains in the surroundings.. and the clouds were covering the giant cross at the top.. by the time we left.. we couldnt see the cross at all.. so lucky us tt we took the photos a few mins before tt happened =p its a really really serene place to be in :D

Day 6 (28 dec)- Madrid, Lourdes
Made our way to lourdes.. and it was a killing 9 hr bus ride? well ok it wasnt tt bad.. cause we were sleeping/ playing cards which was organised by the parents/ watching VCDs on the bus..

so when we got there.. it was already nightfall.. we checked into the hotel.. had dinner.. and walked to the nearby famous catholic church.. its a place where a sister saw maria.. and the sister's body didnt decompose for 3 yrs even after she passed away.. so until now.. its still preserved in tt church.. really really famous church.. saw the photos of the church during day time.. and the queue was WOAHHH.. its nearly impossible to get close to the church at all.. tts what happened to my uncle aunt and cousins when they went there a few months ago.. they waited there for 6 hours just to enter the church? and ended up giving up =x.. so we were lucky that we were there at night.. when there wasnt anibody =p.. many said their prayers.. while raymond was lighting the candles.. lol..

Day 7 (29 Dec)- Lourdes, Nice
Some ppl woke up really really early to attend the church service at the same church.. while the rest of us went there a little later (since it was walking distance from the hotel).. just walk around and took photos there.. cause we couldnt the night before judging by the amount of light there was.. lol.. but didnt hav much time to explore la.. had to rush back to the hotel.. to start on our 10 hr bus ride to Nice..

Goodbye Spain and Hello France! arrived at nice and it was already v dark.. checked into the hotel.. ate dinner.. and some of us decided to go walk around the city square..

Day 8 (30 Dec)- Nice, Cannes, Monte Carlo, Nice
First off! we went to Cannes! it was supposed to be a place famous for film festivals.. but they just look like ordinary buildings to me =.=.. probably cause we could only see the exterior.. ~~with lots of cute little kids playing around the staircase xD~~.. some of us went shopping and looking at the sea full of yachts.. while waiting for the rest to finish their tram ride.. nth much actually..

Went back to nice to enjoy some good food.. WHERE RAYMOND AND DITTO WERE BUSY GAYING WITH EACH OTHER =.=.. cause we couldnt finish our dishes.. quotes raymond 'DITTO! 'HERE COMES THE CHOO CHOO TRAIN'.. !?!? so sad tt the pictures we took of them were super blur.. and there was this convo abt ppl in africa.. and everytime we talk abt it.. ditto will start eating one chunk of fish xD HAHAHAH..

so we headed off to this perfume factory place.. the smell was really strong.. they showed us around on how the perfumes are being made and all.. and this is the only picture i managed to take there! =p LOLL.. i have no idea how the guys managed to put it there without him knowing it =p.. omg lets just pray hard tt patrick doesnt come here.. otherwise I"LL BE SO DEAD IF HE KNOWS TT I TOOK A PICTURE OF HIM WITHOUT TELLING HIM ABT THE PIECES OF PAPER BEHIND =p

headed off to Monte Carlo after tt.. its at the top of the hill.. went to a church where the royal families' tombs were.. paiseh i cant rmb the names also =p.. and took photos of the city again..

went down tt hill to go to the CASINO!!~~which victor was trying to get past by showing his fake ID~~ lol it was the first casino to be built in europe.. my family didnt go in though.. so we just walked around the area.. where they were selling branded goods..

looks super grand eh.. and the cars there were WOAHHH.. saw sooo many sports cars.. lambourginis.. when ppl walk past.. their heads will all turn towards random cars de..LOL.. im serious! not exaggerating!

Day 9 (31 Dec)- Nice, Seravalle, Milan
Took abt 3 hr bus ride to seravalle.. SHOPPING TIME!! its basically a factory outlet for all the branded goods.. the prices there were really crazy!! omggg.. sad thing was.. it was winter.. so they only had all the winter collections =.=.. so i just ended up getting a jacket.. so wasted.. my mum say if its spring or summer time.. we tour tt place for 3 days also not enough to shop.. lol.. so we had 3 hrs to spare there.. and everyone was scrambling like some aunties going for big sale.. HAHAHA.. everyone really bought alot of stuff.. my mum kept on telling me and my sis to buy a branded handbag each.. BUT TO NO AVAIL xD HAHA.. and i figured out my dad's new hobby- buying branded handbags.. he ended up forking out the most money cause he bought a prada handbag for my mum.. and another one for my grandma.. while he got a prada shoes for himself..(and wth! first time i know that there are kids size for prada shoes)

After which.. took another few hrs ride to milan! went to this place.. for more shopping! but most of the shops were closed already.. since it was new yr's eve.. pretty crowded cause everyone was gathering for the new yr countdown.. but well.. we preferred to go back to the hotel for our countdown instead since transportation will be really difficult to find..

a giant mistletoe! :D haha.. where many couples actually stood there and kissed under it.. we were being spastic by telling our parents to go do the same.. HAHA.. obviously failed la.. then my dad told my sis 'QUICK GO UP THERE WITH ANDY!!'HAHA WTHH.. retarded parents..

the no of counts of kisses! haha its really alottt..23 245? i think they were trying to break a guiness world record or something..

we had a countdown party with our own grp tt night =) probably the first time tt i actually had a new yr countdown =) stupid sis pangseh me by sleeping so early =.=.. so me and my dad just went to the lobby to hang around with the rest.. i think our timing for countdown wasnt really accurate.. but nvm xD.. we had fun! could see the fireworks from the hotel.. and popped a champagne at the count of midnight :D drank red/white wine too.. omg i sound alcoholic! but no im not! dont worry! we drank it with full support from our parents =.=.. and then the kids went up to play poker! no idea what the adults were doing in the lobby after tt.. my dad is always v excited whenever we wanna play poker.. and every single night.. he will ask ís there poker tonight?' HAHA which parent will encourage their kids to gamble omg!!.. and he kept on chasing us out of the room and telling us to go look for the rest to play.. =.=..

poker was really fun tt day xD.. patrick turned REALLY REALLY red from the alcohol.. pretty scary.. but somehow he was still v alert.. eli has a picture of his super red face! but so sad tt we couldnt find her contact on facebook D:.. some of us slept at 2.30am.. while the rest talked till 3.30am?

Day 10(1 Jan)- Milan
Struggled to wake up the nxt morning.. and went to the national stadium! something abt football stuff la.. which i dun understand at all.. no idea why the rest were so excited over it.. LOL..

Next was Duomo Cathedral.. or isit Galleria Vitorrio Emanuelle II? aiyah.. either or la.. cause the other one was the name of the place we went to the previous night.. lol!

and since we managed to free up some time tt day.. since we chionged the rest of the places.. ronald decided to bring us to SWISS!!! omg this is another of my fav place :D.. THE SCENERY IS REALLY REALLY V PRETYYY <33.. the lake was so clear tt you can see the bottom.. and the reflections of the swans/ducks as well!..more snow were on the ground.. but it wasnt snowing D:..

dont ask me why im wearing RJC jacket okay! me and my sis were just trying to be spastic.. she wore my athena jacket.. and i wore her RJC jacket.. HAHA

MY DAD IS SO FUNNYYYY!! HAHAHAHA.. wait till i blackmail him with this photo =p.. oh oh even better.. i had this photo with him wearing the burger king crown xD

oh ya.. and we took a tram ride around the place too.. where patrick and raymond were conveniently nodding off.. all thanks to poker the night before =p..

went back to the hotel.. and played poker and murderer for one last time.. AND I KEEP ON GETTING FORFEIT D:.. suayyyy.. but it was fun :D patrick turned strangely red again even though he didnt drink ani wine.. HAHA.. did i mention tt the parents always come into the room to bring snacks for us while we are playing? HAHA =p

Day 11 (2 Jan)- Milan, Singapore
the nxt day was basically our flight back.. but there were still lots of ppl doing last min shopping!.. this time my dad bought another gucci handbag for my mum? and he even volunteered to choose and pay for mine and my sis's handbag.. LOL? but he still fail la xD i wonder since when he's so generous.. LOL..

and i guess tt marks the end of the trip! enjoyed the trip alot =) they are really a great bunch of ppl =) i'll really miss the late night pokers.. the oranges flying between tables.. how the tomatoes on our table will always end up in the parents table (even though the guys were trying to force each other to eat cause they have some nutritional value for guys?).. and the desserts will somehow always end up piling up on our table :D.. how victor will go bankrupt every single night tt we play poker.. how raymond the drama king will always get killed when we play murderer cause he talks ALOT.. the way patrick accuses nike of being the murderer every single round even though he doesnt have a clue.. how nike will give up trying to survive and say ókay come on.. just kill me everybody!'.. how ditto will pretend tt he wasnt the murderer and say ÓMG we killed the wrong person again D:'.. and how andy is always the quietest one.. while his three brothers keep on complaining to my mum abt why they have to go back to work in their dad's company every single holiday whereas we dun have to.. LOL.. the way we will give each other retarded forfeit while waiting for the food to be served.. till we get bloated even before the main dishes came.. and of course speaking in 3 different languages.. everyone dared to speak somehow.. cause all our bahasa and chinese were of the same lousy standard HAHAHA..

and our most valuable lesson learnt from the trip: retarded parents have friends who are retarded parents as well.. (and my parents cant agree more to this.. LOL).. crazy la! uncle william actually told my parents to send us to melbourne since all of them are going to study there nxt yr.. and we are welcomed to move in with them =.=..

but really hope tt we can have a holiday together with them again =) they apparently went to dubai and egypt last christmas! and they actually invited us for a holiday.. since 4 yrs ago? but my dad keep on rejecting every yr cause something will always crop up D:.. my chance of going to egypt D:.. alright i shall end off here! phew finally done with blogging abt the trip! sry for the lag =p

HELLO :D how's everyone doing? its burning here!! so much hotter than singapore omg D: usually its cooler.. no idea what happened this time.. good thing we are only staying here for a few days =)

and and.. i really went to highlight my hair! haha.. i wanted a reddish-brown colour.. but it turned out to be light brown/golden.. oh well! it doesnt look tt bad la.. i still look pretty much like myself.. and my mum was busy trying to convince my sis to do it too.. but she persevered not to do it till the v end.. lol.. i think my parents are really cool.. they will tell us to do stuff which other parents will tell their kids not to do.. :D i'll be leaving in exactly 12 hours time! will be in singapore on 23 dec for approx two hours for transit.. when everyone is probably at philyouth concert.. lol.. and will be back again on 3rd jan if im not wrong.. lets pray hard tt my flight wont get delayed so tt i can go for 401 reunion on tt day >.<

aniway! i cooked yesterday's dinner :D YAYY.. it tasted v nice actually xD.. probably cause i was under close supervision.. =p.. when i come back.. i'll try to learn cooking from my grandma.. and cook dinner every other day or something :D best time to learn already.. she has been telling us to learn it every holiday.. but uhh so far not v successful.. so yeah.. must be determined this time :D.. cooking is realy fun actually.. :D and i cannot let a certain someone overtake me!! HAHA.. tt will be so malu..

and i did the most ridiculous thing today! omgg i cant believe i actually tried 900+ numbers before i could figure out what was the number lock for one of the luggage =.=.. yeah everyone forgot.. aniway.. yesterday marks the end of hwachong.. there was a kinda relief actually.. somehow it just marks the end of everything.. and im thankful for tt.. the only thing which i will miss is the friendships with my close friends.. other than that.. i really dun think that there's anithing tt i'll miss abt our sch.. ~~im sry but yea.. everyone refused to sign up for the alumni even though the form was right in front of us? tt kinda says alot doesnt it..~~

and pls.. i am so NOT going to any more formal dinners and what nots.. i had enough of ppl screwing up my hair whenever there are this kinda events.. and i'll just get unhappy the entire night even before it started.. URGH.. first the beehive.. then now.. this.. WTH.. seriously.. after they do up everything.. i'll always regret and hope tt they didnt touch my hair AT ALL!! grrrrrr... well i actually enjoyed the after prom stay more than the prom itself.. after i removed all my make up and all =.=.. kinda once in a lifetime experience to run up the staircase at marina square barefooted.. and taking a morning stroll along esplanade at 5 in the morning? ~~and of course there was lots of jaywalking since the road was ours xD.. i still cant believe everyone actually ran across tt huge shi zi lu kou in front of suntec~~ oh yeah and MR MACHO.. lol the guys were especially gentlemanly last night.. for some weird reason.. it was our last night as a class.. quite sad la.. i think chances tt we'll get together like this nxt time and with such good attendance is v slim.. considering tt the guys will go army.. and a significant proportion will go overseas for studies.. =(

okay but im just glad tt prom is over! i can do what i REALLY want to do now.. and slack around~~.. gonna leave for indo on 17 dec.. tts nxt week i believe?.. not much time left in singapore.. and there's still alot of outings this entire week.. haha! =).. looking forward to going to spain.. and seeing all the SNOWWW xD.. exciting exciting..

A lvl is finally over.. guess this marks the start of slacking for 8 months.. haha.. but for now.. everyone's so busy preparing for prom.. its really such a hassle la.. shopping around for a dress.. then shoes and accessories.. hairstyle make up and blahhh.. i was just thinking whether its actually worth the effort.. its not like you will only have one prom in your life.. perhaps its worth the hassle if its your wedding.. since its supposed to be the biggest day of your life.. but prom? hmm just cause you wanna look pretty for one night.. kinda superficial actually =/.. so what if you look the prettiest on tt night? ppl will just think you look good.. and then they will forget abt it a few days later.. HAHA.. aniway ppl will tend to rmb you for who you really are.. and the memories that you shared.. not based on looking good for tt one night =.=... and ppl always say tt beauty is not skin deep.. true or false? i really doubt this statement in the real world today..

oh well.. for now lets just go with the flow of things.. everyone's trying to look good.. so you just have to follow suit.. maybe it wont have been so bad if we had time to prepare.. and if it didnt take place like one week after a lvl?!

and i like to play with my dress!! omg =p v fun to play.. haha.. its actually a straight dress.. but inside got strings de.. so you can just tie and fold whatever you like to get different effects =p.. then the top.. got one long white cloth which you can tie a ribbon or use as halter.. but im gonna chop it off to make way for my gold ribbon =).. and it will look a little like the one which i hav always been looking for =).. haha! was contemplating to get different colour bows.. like maroon and purple ones as well.. cause they were really pretty =).. and all match really well with the dress.. but decided not to be so retarded =p.. shall send it for altering soon.. but i really like playing with it xD HAHA! fun!

sighh its sooo difficult to find nice prom dresses these days.. =(.. hunted down so many places but still cant find one which i really like.. i saw one online last night though.. its this white dress.. which is actually really simple! but i like =).. they uploaded it just yesterday only.. and today.. i CHIONG DOWN to the shop to get it.. and guess what.. THEY TOLD ME ITS SOLD OUT!! i officially declare today dao mei day.. OMG.. top of the list.. i did really little today and achieved negligible results..

set aside today to do gp.. did one compre.. the b to a book thing.. which i found really pointless cause i didnt learn anithing from it.. switched to chem.. and only made myself panic more.. cause i really cant seem to rmb any of the inorganic formulas even though i have looked at it ONE MILLION TIMES.. zzz.. (yea now you know why i cant excel in bio)

then i tried finding my small little inorganic and organic chem book.. and ended up FLIPPING THE WHOLE HOUSE UPSIDE DOWN for it =.=.. after spending so much time trying to find it.. i shall just declare tt its GONE FOREVER.. shall go prepare its funeral.. im turning nuts.. HAHA

and my pen just died on me suddenly while i was doing some math just now.. there's still ink! wth! everything is just going against me today..

ok at least i managed to learn 2 things today..
1. acyl chloride cannot undergo acid hydrolysis
2. learnt to type in sequences into gc

okay better than nth!

shall go off and sleep really early today.. TOMORROW WILL BE A BETTER DAY!!! :D (it cant get any worse)
